How It Works
Feed oil from your distillation or WFE unit passes through fixed-bed columns packed with activated adsorption media, removing colour bodies and odour-causing compounds.
Regeneration (Polishing) of Oil
Feed oil passes through the fixed-bed columns to strip colour and odour, producing a clean and finished product.
Reactivation of Media
Once saturated, the activated media is reactivated in-situ at controlled temperature through a purely thermal process, without chemical addition.
Cooling
Reactivated media is cooled to a safe operating temperature before the next production cycle begins.
Activated Media Based Final Polishing
The Oil Polishing Unit acts as the final finishing stage in the oil re-refining process.
As oil moves through the activated media bed, colour compounds and odour-causing contaminants are adsorbed and clean, bright, odour-free oil is collected at the outlet.
This approach removes the need for conventional clay treatment, helping reduce waste handling and operating complexity.
